The Desert of The Wanderer’s is a land desolate in many ways. The land is flat for many miles, one the same as the other, and the only land marks, the occasional stunted tree, bush, or boulder. To enter is to find the exit, and to loose it upon forth coming. A herd of rough looking brutes stands, barely visible behind the snow banks where safety from the ice storms is sought. You must come here if you are to learn the ways of the band-stallion, stay until have claimed one mare. This may be instant, or never to come, but you must stay until then. Only then will you see the exit, and gain the knowledge that you may earn within. Solitude is you sanctuary, and your death-crone. Though this land is a desert, for most of the year the ground is frozen, and for most of this covered in snow. Winters are longer, beginning in the first of autumn and ending well into spring. Nights are chilled while summer days may easily kill the incautious. For a stallion in training, there is no better schooling ground. But beware, for danger does as well to destroy than to teach. Mares be warned, if you enter these lands, punishment shall be harsh, and death may occur. Whoever knows what may become of the mind while lost in the ocean of winter’s keep.
Wanderer’s Desert is Lastear’s bachelor lands. You must live within until you claim one mare, or you may choose to live at Kismear Cove. For younger stallions just starting out, it is a good idea to learn from other stallions either here, or in Kismear Cove. The choice is yours. Mares may enter, but be warned, for stallions will be stallions. The alpha stallion is often the finest of the bachelors, and most often the mate sought of worthy mares upon becoming a band stallion. He will be treated as the leader of a human gang might, with fear and hate as well as respect, and may be challenged for his position.
