Subject: *A young man gallops in on a huge stallion*

*Aephid slows Flame to a trot and then to a stop. He dismounts and pats his horse lovingly. "I don't have any sugar lumps for you boy. You'll just have to put up with grass." *The horse snorts stubbornly and trots off to graze. Aephid watches Flame go and then sits by the river. He takes off his worn travelling boots and dips his blistered feet in the water. He smiled and leaned back agains a willow tree, happy to just realax for the moment.

Cloud his faithful falcon flew down and landed on a branch above him. He didn't know how but ever since he had been a child animals had talked to him and he'd been able to answer them. His father had called it sorcery and whipped him well when ever he caught Aephid doing it.

He looked up at Cloud.* "So see anywhere I could stop for the night?" {Yes. There is a inn not far from here and there is some nice little huts. If you like I'll show you the way?} *Aephid sighed and leaned back against the tree, closing his eyes.* "Later friend. I am weary from travelling."
