I think I've fixed this huge bug that causes Nightlife and/or the editor to crash on many people. Go to this page and download COMDLG32.ZIP

<a rel=nofollow target=_blank href="http://www.uforesources.com/dlldownload.html">http://www.uforesources.com/dlldownload.html</a>

Extract just the COMDLG32.OCX into the Windows Sytem folder. It should be fixed now, even without a restart! I found out by accident. I reformated my HD last week and then when I launched Nightlife for the first time I got that error. So I desperatelly tried to find the solution. Took a while and a lot of testing on a freshy-installed system, but I'm pretty sure that's it. Some computers haven't got this file installed by default, so I'll make sure for my next version of Nightlife (v2.0 yay!!) I'll have the installer stick the most recent version of the OCX.

And as usual, Nightlife will not tinker with the registry, except for the NS file association. I believe that applications should use the registry the least often as possible to speed up windows. A lot of applications abuse the registry, be sure I will never do this.
