Subject: Talking about concerts..... (not!)

Hadn't been on the board a while, it looks like it's changed???

So... no more new news on anything???

Talking about great concerts,
I just saw Cher for the 1st time last Sunday,
To me she's like a "female Liberace"--
it's like going to a concert,
Las Vegas show and Cirque de Soleil all at once,
PLUS video clips....

AND, Cyndi Lauper was there as well--
and excellent, too!
(Gee, someone from the 80s is back on tour,
why can't the Romantics do it???
I hear Cyndi's a soccer mom as well!)

That sure makes the Romantics Concert I saw in
Pontiac, Michigan (OVER a year ago or was it 2 now?)
pale in comparison....The only difference is that I was able to stand and see the guys front row and center....
AND I knew almost all of their songs....

....tick....tick....tick.....

Time is slowing moving on....

A side note, the 80s rip-off of "That 70s show" last year
(which featured "What I like about you" at least once (in the original version, I believe) was the most ridiculous show--no meat, ALL fluff and absolutely horrid!

Haven't seen the new "What I Like About You" show....

I did recently pick up a Karaoke disk with that song on it, but it sounds like the musicians on the CD were either high or not listening, because it's nowhere close to the original version, PLUS they screwed up the harmonica solo!

--Later!
