"Wow," for the moment, is meant for Romantics fans. I think the sound of this album is really strong, and could garner some AAA attention -- maybe even some play on classic rock/AOR type stations. The production is good, the energy is there, and the songwriting is darn good too. But my fear is that the perception of "1980s one-hit wonder" is going to be difficult to overcome, because in my experience radio program directors too often are elitist jerks who find more pleasure in discrimination than in actually listening to new music and judging it fairly. I do know a DJ here in Louisville on the AAA station who will give it a fair shake if he gets a copy in his possession (and he will even if I have to give him one myself). If there are people like that all over the country, people in radio who liked the band during its heyday and will give it a fair listen, there's a chance the album might get a little bit of play.
