Well I feel like a major dick for that LOL! Sorry. Of course you've probably read those. (They were new to me; I visit that board only every few months, esp during off-season)

I hope I'm not "contaminated" (looking for something that may not be there), but after reading her spoilers, and the WTP stuff, I thought it was rather clear that Xander was highlighted as "being the same" (and while the reference was ominous, going from Will to Xander like it did with the spooky music and onto the shiny car, the point isn't ominous in the long run --imo, anyway.)

AND I thought I saw room for Drusilla all over the place. Spike locks himself in the basement of the school, but how did he get there, and why was he allowed to stay there? I could see Dru, of all people, being the one to pick up the pieces [of Spike, post-Lurky] and take him somewhere where he could .."heal"?

And the Principal truly gave me the shivers. Right up until the very end, in that scene where he's almost acting like the Mayor, asking Buffy if she wants to work for him. He suddenly seemed a bit "bumbly" and innocent, like the Mayor used to. (I loved Mayor! **weeps with joy**) But before that, geez, why not put a pitchfork in his hand, and "First Evil" T-shirt on him. Nya, indeed!

He even said, in that last scene that almost looked innocent, something like he thought Kit and Carlos would COMBUST by midterms. Hello!

Oh, another thing that's nagging: isn't what Snyder said to Xander in Restless really close to what the shapeshifter was saying to Spike in Lesson? (I need to hunt down some WTP posts that linked Spike and Xander. One from earlier this summer, in particular.)
