I agree, Taxi L is an amazing site, except I'm still waiting for a reply from them in linking up to so, I don't think they are as up to date as Hack. Statistically, all assualts and murders in NYC dropped something like 83% in the first year!!! Prior to that, drivers were dying at about one a month. Check out taxi-l.org's article called "the effectiveness of taxicab shield 'the baltimore case'. I think your conclusion is rather idiotic based on all the available information out there.
