It was for that reason that he had requested that he, rather than her brother, be the one who took her to her doctor's appointment - she hadn't been expecting the visit to the jewelers, but he thought it had made a nice touch to a day that had been pretty much perfect in it's own right. He tugged her to him with her good hand and dropped a sweet kiss to her lips easily.
