She laughed a little bit and looked on as her prized mare licked the foal clean of all the fluid and sac and produced the afterbirth - preceeding which Eliza entered the stall again to pull the afterbirth away, checking it for the proper shape and the one tear where the baby had come through, and then once more to put iodine on the foal's umbilical before finally wiping her hands together and shaking her head. "Job well done, girl." He rubbed his arm where Lacey had anxiously dug her nails into it and shook his head at her excitement, wrapping an arm around her waist and giving her a kiss as though it was her that had done all the work. "This is great... do you think Bella would mind if I took a couple of shots?" He lifted the camera bag to indicate what he was implying, to which his mother nodded her head. "Just stay by the door and don't be too intrusive."

Lacey was desperate to go and love on Bella and her new baby but of course she didn't, content instead to just stand and watch the magical, touching moment. She heard Spencer calling from the other barn and shushed him playfully- even though he couldn't hear her, laughing a little at Ryan as he began to snap as discreetly as he could. Glowing as if it was HER baby that had just been born. Lacey was going to like this breeding thing- just as much as she loved every other aspect of horses. "She's such a good girl...." Lacey murmured as she watched Bella tend to the foal immediately. She couldn;t wait to get the little filly and her mom out in the mares pasture. They only had four more foals to come- there were nine in total- but they hoped to sell at maybe three or four as weanlings, and then bring the rest on to sell.
