Subject: She let him have a good trot out before she brought him back to walk, letting his rein go loose and letting him stretch his head down so his muzzle brushed along the sand contently- he always liked to take his stretched tot he extreme even if they had hardly done any work. Lacey laughed and urdged him to bring his head up just a little so he wouldnt step on his reins, eventually drawing him to a halt and leaning forward over his withers to hug his neck, running her hands right up tot he top of his neck and scratching him where he loved it, giving him all the praise he could ever want. She was so proud of him- he'd been so good throughout his injurey. They had started butting him out int he pasture with one of Eliza's old geldings who was now retired in the hjope that Spencer wouldn;t get silly, and he'd been good, just had a little trot and then settled down to eat and enjoy the warm spring sun.

  • He took a couple more really lovely shots - okay, so it could be a framed compliation or something of the sort, a broad smile plastered to his own features the entire time. He may give her grief once in a while about her loving the horse more than he, but he knew how happy this made her and it made him happy too. "And you were worried." She grinned, and headed toward the pair to give Spencer a stroke on the neck - he was remarkable in his willpower - there was an undeniable bond between the two of them. "You guys will be back on track as soon as you're healed up, I am sure." (NT) -- Ry/Eliza, 08:51:52 02/16/07 Fri
