Subject: Eeeep! They got me!

Lilyth's eyes adjusted to the dim light. The throbbing in her head subsided she recounted the evens that had brought her to this place.

It had been a beautiful evening in Vesper. Lily took her normal stroll through town, stopping in on the shop keepers to see that all was well. The night was quiet and the populace was jovial. Passing the Marsh Hall she decided to stop in to have a bit of that wonderful imported Yew Ale. As she sat speaking to Marsha the Barmaid catching up on the news and local gossip two men entered the Hall. Marsha's face paled and she scurried off to the kitchen as the men approached Lilyth's table. Looking up from her drink Lily saw the men one was known to her. Silencer spoke as their gaze met, "Might we speak with you in private M'Lady?" he inquired. Having known Silencer for some time Lilyth agreed, though she could not shake the uneasy gaze of Joseph Frostmore, the man was positively eery. Ah well, Silencer would not harm her and with that last thought she passed through the portal.
To her surprise the magic portal took her to Daggar Isle as she looked at the house she realized how very close to the City of Caina she was. An uneasy feeling began to fall over her as the three of them entered the building. A warm and hospitable place it seemed and once again she allowed herself to relax. A mistake Joseph grabbed her roughly and shoved her down a flight of stairs. Laying face down on the floor Lilyth raised up in shock only to find herself in a dark dungeon. Joseph raised his hand, landing a tough blow on her cheeck. Bewildered Lilyth looked at Silencer, seeing the change that had come over his face she knew she was betrayed. "You will tell us what you know of the Regency." one of them said. Before any answer escaped her lips she was stripped of her armor and pushed into a tiny cell. "Lady Jadis will be pleased" she heard the remark as the door to the dungeon was slammed. All light extinguished.
Lilyth gazed at the marks on the wall, that was three days past she gauged. She sat naked and cold in the cell. There was no food nor wine or water, indeed no one had come at all. Feeling more helpless and alone than she had been in a long while. Lilyth pondered her predicament, why on earth they would want her for such information. Most of all she wondered why Silencer had turned on her, and what thoughts were running through his apparently darkened mind.
