We want to be great, and powerful. But do we want that power over all, or simply over the goods? It seems we want both, but cannot have it. Which would it be better to have under our control, the goodies, or our brethen. We know our kin as equals, but do we wish to know them from above? Or would it be better to see the goodies from above, only to be able to pounce on them as swiftly and deadly as a wildcat for their first sign of slowness? Some here want to live on top, alone. But what if we all lived on top? That our foundation be our enemies, crushed beneath our hooves, would make us the envied ones.
