Baby, instant soup doesn't really grab me
Today I need something more substantial
A can of beans or blackeyed peas, some Nescafe and ice
A candy bar, a falling star, or a reading from Doctor Seuss

It had taken him a couple sleepless days of contemplating, but he was finally here again. Khakis hanging from his narrow hips and a green tee fitted to his formed torso, he knocked lightly on the door and then stepped back to wait. He exhaled softly, dark circles lined his eyes but he looked okay otherwise - a little more relaxed than before...

She had actually been sick the past few days and was now in the recovering, resting stage. She answered the door in a pair of warm up shirts and a tee shirt of his that he had left laying around.
