Subject: Everybody hurts sometime...

Heavy-hearted, he strolled down the abandonned beach - hands shoved into the pockets of his faded jeans. His eyes lingered on her house for a long moment before returning to the ocean - regretting his decison to come out here rather than to the public beach, but more into being along lately. He was severely lacking faith in the love department, and had spent far more time alone then with other people the last month - the few times he ventured out he did so only to pick up a girl for a night or two, completely uncharacteristic...

She walked out onto the deck for a moment - letting the kids out to play down on the beach. Happy to be out of the house - they ran down onto the sand, Moon brightening as soon as she saw him. She frowned, looking down and swallowing hard. "You said you just wanted to be friends Kaleb..and there were just to many feeling's and to much shit going on in my head to just be friends..I thought maybe if there was some space between us...things would chill out." They just seemed to cause each other pain and she didn't know what to do about it. She let Romeo down to go play - the little boy chasing a crab - while tears slipped unchecked down her olive cheeks. (NT) -- Gabby, 22:17:08 05/19/04 Wed
