Above is the “Jesus Bar”is the most critical bar in the cage) All other bars and suspension points are based on the position of this bar. It took several days of measuring, calculating and string lining the car before this bar was fitted. The tires were test fit into the wheel wells to determine the exact width of the rear end.



The fab 9 housing had all the alston eliminator 4 link brackets tig welded on, then was put in a jig and the billet housing ends were attached. After this was finished a custom back brace was installed. The housing was then powdercoated and the axles and center section installed. The center section is a Strange with a 4.10 pro gear and a strange 35 spline spool. The engine has been a work in progress for the last 2 years. It started as a damaged bowtie block. The block was taken to Jeff Walberg (Custom Machine 713-686-3035) to be inspected. It was determined to have a cracked cylinder, but still usable. That’s where the “Lazarus” name came from both the bible character and the block were raised from the dead. I selected all the components and Jeff did the machining and assembly. The engine was taken to Sig Thomas (Westside Machine) and dynoed. The results were 948hp and almost 800ftlbs torque. The engine didn’t really have a torque curve as the lines were almost flat from 4500 to my imposed limit of 7100rpm.



The picture on the left shows the basic rear structure. The view through the trunk shows how the frame is tied into the bumper braces, and the parachute mount



The rear suspension is finished. The strings represent the layout for the floor bars



Left picture shows the floor bars in place. Right image has the rear end complete and ready to powdercoat



Left photo shows the powdercoated rear end with the axles and 3rd member installed. Picture on right has the fiberglass dash mocked up.

I am trying to sell these two fourwheelers one is a 2001 Honda 250 Recon…….. The other is a 2000 Yamaha Grizzly 600 4wd with a warn winch. Both are in good shape. Will take $2250 for the Honda and $3750 for the Yamaha call 361-578-0043 and ask for Chuck or Bart.

After about 100hrs of smoothing sill plates and subframe, rust treating all the metal on the car, and epoxy priming the roll cage the car arrives at CK’s Auto Expressions

Within minutes of arrival CK had started cutting off the old bondo filled quarter panels. The car gets new roof skin, both stretched quarter panels, rear filler paner and rear tail panel……..Everything left of the original Camaro could be cut up and put in about 4 five gallon buckets.





DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME!!!!!! In case you’re wondering the tool CK is using is the business end of a 14” chop saw. This was the best way CK figured he could get a true cut on the rocker panel ends.

End result.






This is what’s left. Even more sheet metal will be replaced. Both the rear filler and tail panels will both be replaced………….Bart

I"m looking for a set of tubes for 33/10.5w tires.....i got a hole in the slick by a sheet metal screw.......Or looking for a good set of slicks.....my car can take a 32/14 tire at a good price....also if I can get the car to run a good number ...i will have the car for sale ....Thanks for any and all help....
