You know John, I never thought of it that way but you are right. The Reveries actually played a major role in the DCI scheme of things despite the fact that no Reveries drum corps ever competed in a DCI Prelim or finals.
Interesting analogy with that Israeli-Palestinian thing. Rumor has it that those two groups can't march for beans.
Hope you had a good Holiday. And for any Reveries who have any interest in the Pembroke Imperials (remember them kicking our butts) John has a good site devoted to them that is worth checking out. As soon as I get off my lazy keester and add it to our links page, you can check it out.
