Thanks Carl.

I think that I have opened a can of worms that I can't pursue at present! I thought that the Russian shebecks, all 8 of which were built in 1788 (the 1st) and 1789 (the next 7)along with 10 half-shebecks all in response to the Swedish designs! Turunmmaas and hememmaas captured by the Russians occasionally had two bow 24pdrs, but the broadside guns were 12pdrs–not 36 pdrs.Possibly Chapman designed the hememmaas for 36pdrs and they were given 12pdrs instead?
