I laughed. Only I was laughing at my brother, not Saddam. He had an internship all this summer as a journalist in Washington DC. Last week he was covering the White House- presidential briefings, the motorcade, the tree lighting, the whole bit.

My brother comes home....

....and the next day, they catch Saddam. HUGE freaking story.

And my brother is back in Wisconsin.

This thoroughly amused me.

I worked in the news for four years, and my first thought when I heard they caught him was, "All my friends who are reporters and anchors are sitting at home on their day off going, 'Who gets caught on a SUNDAY? Honestly!'"
