One of the problems with some of Wright's constructions is that they look marvelous, but they're not designed to hold up to the ravages of time. (See Fallingwater as another example.) The concrete block buildings he did have turned out to be particularly ill-equipped to survive in the world of weather and smog. I'd heard that this structure needed a lot of work before the rains, but our winter may be the last straw. It's a shame, but it makes me even more glad now that it was used in "Buffy" - and, now that I think of it, very glad that my sister had me drive her up there to look at it, years before Joss Whedon had any TV shows. (The first time I saw it on "Buffy," I pointed at the TV and said, "Hey! That's where Laurie and I went!")
