"have yourself a merry little christmas" is another of my favorites. it is amazing how changing the verse just slightly can really affect the message of the song...

on that same note, i recall seeing a vh 1 show(i think it was one hit wonders) where katrina from katrina and the waves said that originally their hit "walking on sunshine" was actually a sad song about a girl who was waiting around for a love that wasn't coming back. but their producer convinced them that if they made it an upbeat, happy tune it would be hit. obviously he was right but i would love to have heard how it was originally done...

thanks for asking about me and the family. we are all well, this is just one of those crazy times with work, school, sports etc so i can drop in and catch up but i haven't been a very good poster lately.

have a great thanksgiving bill, i assume you'll be home in ohio for the holidays. big game for the buckeyes this weekend!
