Saidamon pokes Kitai with her nose. "Hi!"

Kitai shrieks and jumps away. "Aggh! Snake!" She starts to run away, then stops and turns slowly to face the creature. "Did you just talk to me?"

Saidamon nods cheerfully. "Yep."

"But you're a snake. Snakes don't talk...where I'm from."

"Well, we're not where you're from, are we?" Kitai opens her mouth to say something, but Saidamon keeps talking. "This is the Digiworld. You're one of the Digidestined and I'm your partner - the name's Saidamon. You have to save our world from evil, because, quite frankly, we're too pathetic to do so ourselves. What do you say?"

Kitai blinks slowly. "Okay. What I say is, I'm having a really weird, really intriguing dream. How do I go about saving the world?"

Saidamon sighs. "Check the Digivice. The blue thing." Kitai does so, spotting immediately a blinking red dot to the west. "That's another one of the Digidestined."

"Okay, then let's go meet him or her." She picks the snake up and sets off in the direction of the red blinking dot.
