Subject: Long story about bad buyers

Okay its late but I am going to ramble. We have always done mall pageants since my girl was born. we won or placed in those with dollie dresses and so forth. I was around pageants for a few years about 10 years ago anybody remember dixie darlings? It was way back I remember how it was back then. Well my daughter wanted to be queen last year when she was 2 so I put her in a pageant and she won. Mind you mall pageant no big deal. Well I got the fever. I have a really good friend on the kp2 list. I got on the list started selling rhinestones and anything I could get my hands on. Contacted a designer and she didn't have time to make me a dress and mentioned Karen Bucci. I emailed her and bought a dress from her. I was going to decorate it myself but couldn't find the time. I had a seamstress measure my daughter and I sent the first half of payment and mearurements to her. She was really nice. She took time out to decorate it to prelim level. cost altogether was 350.00 I thought I had a good deal.
met her at the pageant got my dress and the bodice was too big. we wore it anyway no other choice. I was going to take the dress as it was I don't like to start problems but she look at it with my daughter in it and said she would fix it. I got the dress 1 1/2 weeks later. and she had put on a beautiful georgette skirt--she does do great skirts it was awesome. Tried the dress on and it was the same. too big. I must of made her mad because she made a comment to someone about doing contracts. I didn't get to know her too well but felt sorry for her with her situation. And like I said I didn't complain to her because I wanted pageant friends and her skirts are beautiful. I think from what I have heard from everybody alot of people were willing to help her. In my opinion I haven't found anybody better at sewing so far and have wanted to use her again but now I hear all these negatives. If Karen reads this I hope she will ask us for help maybe there is something we can do. I hope everybody that has paid gets there stuff. I was fortunate and got mine-that 350.00 dress sold for 530.00 when I added to it. Karen if you read this tell Sandy to email the list with your number and maybe there is something I could help you with. Your a great seamstress when you choose to be. Don't let it go down the tubes. Some of us care. Sandy M. if you get on this board and read this email the list so I can help
thanks for letting me ramble and I will be posting later names of bad bidders on the list and pageant world.
GREAT BOARD>
