Subject: Replies to Archived Messages & New Posts in Archives

In the "Forum Archive Configuration" web page one gets to from the "Main Index & Archive Config" link:

1. If one has the <b><i>"Allow replies to Archived Threads?"</b></i> box checked it allows one to reply to archived messages. However, the reply ends up listed in the archive rather than the 'current index'. This happens unless the <b><i>"View message (confirm) before final post?"</b></i> box is checked [which is in the Forum Display Configuration area]. If that box <u>is</u> checked, then the message does eventually, correctly go to the 'current index', but one gets this <b>incorrect</b> message on the way:

<b>"The message you replied to does not exist (or was just deleted). To post your message as a new message, resubmit it below. Please make corrections and resubmit your post"</b>

2. If the <B><I>"Display new-post form in Archives?"</b></i> box is checked, a new message can be posted. However, the new post ends up listed in the archive rather than the 'current index'. This happens unless the <b><i>"View message (confirm) before final post?"</b></i> box is checked. If that box <u>is</u> checked it works correctly and is posted as a new message in the 'current index'.

I lost a TON of replies to messages, in both the 'current index' and in archives, during the changeover.
