Subject: laguna running problem

hi can anyone help? i have a 1997 laguna 1.8 rt it starts fine but sounds like it has a slight misfire when reved but is running on all 4 cylinders, also lack of power, and exhaust glows red after around five minutes of being driven, exhaust also sounds blocked ut this has been changed and makes no difference at all.
any help would be appreciated.
