>I just got through buying a 1966 chevy fleetside(longbed) pickup truck. I bought it without a motor or tranny. It had no lights whatsoever and I almost have tooken care of all the cancer it had. My problem though, after driving my truck for about a month the tranny went out. I replaced it with another, but the little "tail end" (where the driveline connects) was 2 inches too long. Can I switch the old "tail end" with the new tranny? If you can let me know that would help me out a lot!!
