I HAVE A 90 PONTIAC FIREBIRD WITH A 3.1L V6. THE OTHER DAY I WAS DOING 45MPH DOWN THE HIGHWAY AND THE ENGINE JUST DIED. I HAVE CHECKED TIMING, THAT I HAVE SPARK AT THE PLUGS, AND THAT THE FUEL PUMP AND INJECTORS ARE OPERATING FINE. I ALSO REPLACED THE ELECTRONIC MODULE UNDER THE DISTRUBTER CAP. DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS AND COULD THIS BE A SENSOR THAT HAS GONE BAD. THE ENGINE ROTATES BUT WILL NOT START, THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED.
