Subject: 91 GMC Jimmy engine problems

alright i have a 91 gmc jimmy it has a 4.3 liter v6 engine in it i recently blew the motor and replaced it with the motor of a 91 chevy s-10 p/u engine which is also a 4.3liter v6
my problem is that since i replaced it I can not keep the engine idling smoothly when i come to a stop, or even when i start it up in the morning, it seems that when i start it up first thing in the morning or after running it and i come to stop a light it seems like it starts missing, or idling very rough and sometimes stalls out, the thingh that gets me is that it doesnt do it when im driving it seems to run very smooth, and i figure it can't be the timing or anything like that being that i retimed it and advanced the timing on it, if anyone thinks they can help please help me out thanks!
