Subject: Speakers coming off cd receiver

Here is my scenario. I have a 45 x 4 watt MP3 Head Unit. Off the front amp output I have a pioneer 600 watt amp with tweeters and 6x9's hooked on it that work fine. Off the back amp output i got a xplod amp pushing 2 10' speakers, that work fine. My problem is that the 2 5 1/4 inch speakers I have coming off the receiver are no longer working. They are the only speakers being pushed by the receiver. I also occasionally get a sqeulch noise out of the 6x9 and tweeters. The 5 1/4 worked for awhile after I hooked the amp on the front output and just kinda cut out forever one day. If you have any idea what I can do to fix it I would be very thankful.
