Subject: Where are the women that are in "Charge" of the ladies auxillary? Author: Frankie Skidmore [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 12:13:01 04/02/02 Tue I have been in this unit over a year now and only one or two ladies have taken the time to call me about events and different happenings of the unit....... I was told that there were ladies in "charge" but am wondering why I have NEVER been contacted and why when I send emails to them asking questions about upcoming events I never get a reply...... I love reenacting and always speak proudly of our unit.....but feel that someone needs to take control and get a more updated list of names, addresses, phone #'s and email addresses if we are suposed to be united..... Because of work I am not always able to attend all events and because I still feel like only a few women in the unit want to see me at events....I do not always get to attend.. I know that this could be the most wonderful ladies unit if we all were to chip in and call oneanother and if our "leader" would do some leading and see that everyone know's what is going on be it by email or by snail mail..... When questions are asked by someone it is just common courtesy to send a reply A.S.A.P. We wouldn't ask if we didn't need to know...... I LOVE 9TH TEXAS AND THIS IS THE MOST WONDERFUL UNIT! I am interested in starting a crochet and quilting group... If you are interested please email me....... To all thoes wonderful Kind people who have helped me though some hard times this past year and have helped me learn what it is to be a reenactor, I thank you and pray that God keeps you safe and provides all that you need in life.
