I'm glad we were able to come to a conclusion that works well for both. I can understand the constraint, since it was definitely different from what we first told you. We're apologetic that we had to change at all, it's just that with all these unexpected things coming up in planning, each of us organizers is having the most stressful two weeks of our lives! In a very good way though, of course. Actually we do have a few gift bags that we're auctioning/raffling off. Depending on my many promo CD's you have we could either include some in a few gift baskets for raffle or auction, or if you have more we could distribute them in the gift bags that each guest will be receiving on his or her way out. The other artists are doing various things. Judith Owen & Harry Shearer are bringing 350 CD's for all the gift bags. Faith & The Muse is setting up merch table with part of the proceeds going to RAINN. Just let us know what you'd like to do on that level, and we'll take the steps necessary to arrange it. Also, we'll leave two comps under your name and whoever you'd like can just come and say they're your guests. Looking forward to meeting you! Let me know of any other questions I can answer. I guess I felt overly constrained by the combination of the original length of performance time and the time slot. Would it be possible to include CD promo copies in gift baskets, or simply have some as give-aways? Am curious what the other artists are doing.
