The SoCal RAINN Event is just two short days away!! The benefit takes place August 24th (Friday) at 6:30 at Quest Studios in Santa Monica, 1919 Broadway Street. We hosts have spent an exhausting but fun week filled with last minute arrangements including stuffing the gift bags full of cool stuff.. until 2:30 AM last night!!
Ticket sales are going GREAT and it’s already clear the SoCal RAINN Event will be a success, thanks to the many of you out there who have already sent in your orders. But we want to push the envelope… there is no such thing as raising too much for RAINN! We’d love to sell the place out so with that in mind we are excited to offer a limited incentive. We’re grateful to those of you who have kept up with our updates and followed our progress. We want to meet each and everyone Tori fan in the Los Angeles area, even the ones that cannot spend $50 on one evening even if it IS for a great cause. That’s why right now we’re pleased to offer HALF PRICE admission to the first ten people to respond to this posting. We’ll leave your name at the will call table at the event so our volunteers know you need only to pay $25 a person, $50 a pair! And 100% of that will go directly to RAINN. If you’re reading this late, please still email! Don’t automatically assume you aren’t in the first ten because we aren’t sure what kind of response we’ll get.
Remember, the event will include musical performances by Lili Haydn, Chris Laterzo, Tiffany Kyees, Joe 90 (as heard on tour with Counting Crows and on WB's Felicity), Faith and the Muse in their only U.S. show of their tour, and a special performance by husband and wife team Harry Shearer (of "Spinal Tap" and "The Simpsons") and Judith Owen. Other highlights of the event will include: complimentary makeovers from SkinMarket, a charity auction featuring items donated by Angelina Jolie, Radiohead, Henry Rollins, X-Large and more, and a prize drawing that each guest will automatically be entered into. The guests will also be treated to a dinner buffet supplied by local cateringcompanies and restaurants.
