Hang in there, Becky...everyday is a major accomplishment and helps your little Alli so much! I spent my entire pregnancy on modified bedrest and 9 weeks on complete bedrest so I know how it is. It is horribly boring. My hubby rented tons of movies for me and got me lots of books and magazines to read to help pass the time. Sleep as much as you can also. When Alli gets here you won't be sleeping much so it will help to be well rested. As horrible as bedrest is, it is all well worth it. You would rather be on bedrest than your baby in the NICU, trust me. And it is way to early for you to deliver yet. 32 weeks is the earliest that is out of the clear for major complications generally. 23/24 weeks they can survive but only after months in the NICU and they generally have major health problems. By staying in bed, you are doing the very best thing you can do for your baby. Be proud of yourself for everyday that you make it through!

Rachel

P.S. I am always here if you need someone to chat with about bedrest or preemies. My girls were born at 34 weeks and spent 17 days in the NICU after being born at 3 lbs. 13 ozs. and 3 lbs. 15 ozs.
