In reply to: High Gears 's message, "High Gears let out a deep thoaty sigh...this was going to be a real pain in the exhaust port." on 10:02:19 04/22/02 Mon

High-gears watched as the ship landed and Nemisis-1's announcement boomed over the speaker system. High-Gears rose from his desk with a look of utter disgust.

Talman had been with the AOD as a part time agent for over three years, and in that time he had never fully compleated a mission without having some troubles slip in and wreck the whole damn thing.

"If you look up the word incompetant in the dictonary, you'll be sure to find Talman's face plastered next to it." High-Gear's remembered Sonar saying once. Sonar had been High-Gear's partner since his induction into the AOD, and oringially declined Astrotrains promotion to Sub-commander when he learned that Sonar had not gotten the commander postion. Only when Sonar told him to take the job, did High-Gears reluctantly agree to do so. And since that time he has learned to regreat listening to his friend for one simple reason, no matter how hard he tried, the Intellegence part of the AOD ran rough shot thanks to the fool hearty actions of Netwave.

Shrugging off the feeling of displeasure, High-Gears headed for the desending ship. He hoped that soon he wouldn't have to worry too much about the new recuits, but part of him knew that his troubles were only starting.

"Life is never fully fair no matter how much you believe it is."
