Subject: Nursing Opportunities in the UK and USA

Below is some information that you may find of us. If you are interested in the USA or UK opportunities please email me your CV and we will guide you through the process step by step.

USA
Salaries are equal to your US nurse counterpart and tend to range from approximately $37,000 - $56,000 depending on the hospital, area and speciality. (Nursing Homes tend to be slightly lower paid than a regular hospital).

All of our client hospitals offer generous salaries, relocation allowances, sign on bonuses, free green card sponsorship and a benefits package commensurate with the US nurses. For example one of our Chicago Hospitals is currently offering:-
Can work on the CGFNS for up to one year whilst preparing for and sitting the NCLEX exam.

Free Green Card sponsorship
Starting salary on CGFNS $21-$23 per hour
Free airfare to the US to start work
Relocation allowance
2/3 months free housing
$6,000 bonus paid after 2 year contract
Benefits package commensurate with the US nurses i.e. Healthcare and pension etc.
We also operate a "Buddy" system where we put you in touch with other nurses that are going to the same hospital or who have already started work. This is a good way for your to get to know your colleagues before you even start work.

UK
As soon as the nurse has their NMC application number we can begin to find them suitable vacancies with UK hospitals. We will forward the nurses resume and details to the hospitals and if the hospitals show an interest then we will arrange a telephone interview.

If the interview is successful and both parties wish to proceed then we will arrange for a work permit application to be completed and will forward a hospital brochure to the nurse.

Once the nurse has received their work permit and confirmed a start date with us they can make their travel arrangements. One of our representative will meet them at the airport and take them to their accommodation.

Most of the hospitals we deal with offer heavily subsidised shared accommodation for nurses seeking accommodation on a single occupancy basis only. If a nurse wishes to travel with family or others Stateside Nursing can assist them in finding their own accommodation.

Working in the UK offers a nurse a wonderful opportunity to broaden their experience. However, it is important that the nurse appreciates that many of the UK working practices may be very different than what they are used to in their own home countries. They may also be given more or in some cases less responsibility than what they are used to.

Most of the hospitals we deal with are located within an hour's travel of an international airport. This offers a nurse wide opportunities to visit many European cities, again within an hour's flight.

Many of our hospitals have flexible shift patterns and even self rostering which can give a nurse the free time to travel. In addition a nurse employed through us will have the same holiday entitlement, typically 25 days + 8 days public paid holidays
