I was with the 444th Eng.Det. from 1967- 1969 in Ankhe, I am sorry for your loss due to PTSD, LLC,from Agent Orange, and othermed problems I really don't remember a lot, hell, I've spent the last thirty some years trying to forget it.
Sorry, I get a bit carried away. Our C.O. was Lt. Larry R. Booth, 1968-1969, Joseph (Joe) Graveling was our frist Sgt. an E-5 WE were a small det. about 26 men, it seems like I remember Jimmy Lang, but at this point I really couldn't say for sure. Others were Sp-4 Jagodzinski, Pfc Zurrubba, Pfc. Vanpelt, Childs,and Granny, My MOS 62D20 however, I was also the C.O.s jeep Driver, then gook honcho, over 65 civilions working on the compound, I was also with B co.84 eng.
