I was with the 536th port construction and I was a welder on the Bong Son Bridge from 1970 - 1971. I lost all contact with my group after I left. Would be great to hear from anyone. We were a small group attached to B co. also. I was there welding the hand rails when my captain pulled up behind me and said grab your gear your going home.
I read the bridge was blown up in one of these messages. Anyone know for sure?? Thanks for any replys.
Randy Real name Steve Janssen
