I am the sister of Timothy Paul Jarvis out of Ft Riley Kansas with Army Corp of Engineers cleaning up radiation during 1977, his REMAINS were unretrievable according to the Army. He was given a 21 gun salute and a flag. We never got to say good bye to Tim. I am now the sole survivor of our family. The military would not send us his personal belongings. Looking for anyone that knew him and might have pictures of him or traveled to Hawaii or West Germany with him...It is so sad what was done there to all the natives and military who were deemed "expendible"...
I would like to come and visit the pit where I believed his body was dumped because it was too hot to ship back to the USA..
Thank you all for your service to our country, my brother paid with his life to get our single Mom a home. He left her Insurance and she built a modest house. Pretty grown up for a 20 year old young man who died way too soon.
I miss you Tim!
Your Sister, Sherry
