I arrived at Camp Radcliff (An Khe)in 9/67 and assigned to the 511th...I was a SP/4 in the Motor Pool, taking care of the dump trucks, etc. As I recall, shortly after Tet, the 511th departed An Khe, headed south to take a boat ride north to Danang. We set up our camp on a beach north od Danang in a Vietnamese cemetary. Half the Company remained at the beach site, the other half was sent north around Phu Bai. I went back to the world 8/68...
I have only been in contact with one member of the Company since coming home...I met with Jim Hopper of Kansas City some yeard ago; he was the motor pool tow truck operator

WECOME HOME!!!
