Subject: Psst... Anyone out there??

Where is everyone playing acro now?

I have been in a hospital for about a month now. My 17 month old was diagnosed with Embryo Rhabdomyosarcoma cancer june 11th 2005 and have been here pretty much since. I have been home a total of 6 days and those arent consecutive days.

Its in his bladder that spread to his prostate. hes on chemo for a year and begins radiology in 6 wks. He had surgery today to have a new central line installed and hes not very happy.. and hes hogging the crib. :-)

I need to get hooked on acro again for these late nights. hehe

Im secretly going nuts here actually.. Im doing this alone. Everytime my son sees a man with a bald or shaved head he says, "dadda" It breaks my heart because he either dont know his father or thats his way of saying he misses his dadda. dadda isnt exactly in the picture. Hes to busy with his new gf that hes been seeing about 2 months now, moving her in with him after 4 days. he wont come see his son unless she is with him and I am at the point where I wont allow her here. Its not her place to be at this time and causes conflict when she is here. he says Im bitter and selfish.. if that was the case i wouldnt of let her come the first week with him.

Well.. i wont bug yas much. Just wanted to find out where everyone plays now.. besides in traffic. :)

Sorry to hear about your son, Sandie, and sorry to hear your ex is choosing this stressful time to try and push a point, the insensitive lout!

I don't think there are that many oldies playing acro anymore. I go on infrequently, but don't bump into many people I "know". If you do go to Acrophobia, the 30-somethings 2 room, the Beach and the Couch seem to turn up the most recognizable players. Some people also play at Acrochallenge.com

Good luck with a challenging situation. What is your son's prognosis?

So... Ok I am pissed off at everyone..Hubby; kids.... ( for those of you who know me will know that this isn't a change ) After a very long absence, I decide to go to acro. Geez... Years ago I loved acro. And to blow my own horn I was damn good at the game.
So, it isn't like Cheers... 'cause this time Noone knows my name.. but the game is fun!

anyways, i played acro the other day for first time in years... not as much fun as it used to be, very few familiar faces... sitkadog and burgh were in there

not many double headed dildo acros flying about either, which usually means i get few points lol

hope to see ya in there kiddo (just be careful if ya get to face off, me red texts havnt tamed much over the years lol)

HAHA!! I was in playing in the uproar one i think.. i THINK! It was the back door one thats posted previously on this Forum. I actually won a few rounds with 'bra'. The dirty ones werent really favord. I tried. I sat here in the lobby area of this floor laughing my ass off at some idiot that i offended cause I called him a chick. He says, "YOU CALLIN ME A CHICK!?" I said well.. if the bra fits. The doc here on at the time walked by as asked if i was ok.. perhaps i should of invited him to play too! just what I would need.. fighting over the puter over a came of acro late at night. lol

Well.. Hope to see SOME familiar faces anyways.

How about i thought i was going to be out of this hospital today.. I went to check on it and they tell me, "No. You're here for 5 days of chemo" I was like.. WTF!! I was under the impression that Weds he was getting his port put in.. which he did. Then Thurs was his overnight stay.. as in 2 days here. I wish when docs change shifts and a few leave for over seas that they would at least let me know whats going on! Oh well. Here I am again. :)
