Cory,

Will try to answer your questions. I live about 18 miles west of Charleston in Summerville. Really not familiar yet with the ins and outs of Charleston. Will be taking a new job this summer which will lead me into downtown Charleston everyday. Then I'll have some good leads. Sometimes where I detect now its "woodsy" so I meet up with the snakes. Multiply that with earphones on and you can see where the fear factor comes into play. Personnally beach's are just OK to hunt. The good stuff is out in the water. I used to live near Sebastian Fla. so I'd look for galleon coins alot. Never did find any, but some of my club members did. I'd rather hunt old homesites any day. Question for you...Do you guys have alot of ticks in the springtime???Hope this helps...Wheat..
