Hi Jeremy and welcome to the forum, and to metal detecting!
Sounds like you've been doing pretty good already! As far as the old stuff goes try some old house sites or old parks and schools in your area. You might do a little research and find an old campground or old fairground or something like that to detect in. I'm in St. Matthews so I don't know of anything in MB, but try places like this and you should turn up something pretty old somewhere. There is a guy in your area that relic hunts but I don't know if he reads the forums or not. His name is Steve Guthrie. He may help you more if you can get in touch with him....Hope this helps..
