Subject: Tim's for a week or two

From the land of the Bluenose....after dropping the better half off at work I headed to one of those local water spots that I hit once each summer. Being 0730 hours I had the place to myself (mind you the ducks and albino crows were around) which suited me fine. Nice sunny day with no wind which caused the surface of the water to act like a mirror reflecting a cloudless sky. Was looking forward to some good quality swishing with the rythmic music of the old Sea Hunter filling my ears. Of course a loose wire in my headphones made a sound like a cheap transistor radio that one couldn't quite tune into any one station. Not to be denied the pleasure of the day I took the basic six steps to problem solving and found that by holding the headphone wire in my mouth while swinging the problem was rectified and caused this bouy to keep his big yap shut!

Knee deep in the water the targets started coming at a regular pace with pocket change abound. Had visions of a few nice rings and other goodies.....what I got was my first blood sucking leech of the summer on the lower calf just below my wet suit. Going to shore I returned to Goquikski (my car) and pulled out the dental floss from the glove box and used that to strip the little bugger off. Would have used a hair if I could have found one or two.

Returning to the water I continued swishing without incident. End result from the day was a swivel , earring and bangel (neither silver) and 95 coins @ $25.77..............enough for a down payment on a new set of headphones.....not....rather like a few weeks of visits to Tim's.
