((Right, swordbreakers were used very minimally by only very elite members of the militant population. Usually, it consists of three blades played straight out(Like Terr's tri-blade prosthetic.)or splayed in a one-up with two diaginal prongs. When you faked for my side, I met it midway, your blode, instead of locking or clashing as it would with another sword, sliding between to of the tri-blade's...well...blades, & locking against the thick base of the metal cylinder. Swordbreakers are designed, so that a simple, sharp twist of the arm can simply snap even the most expertly crafterd blades in half. Hence their name, & their infamy. Naturally, this does not aply to beastly great claymores & similar weapons, but from your own sword's deccy...)) -- Battle Board

((Eh...swordbreakers SNAP the blades of the swords themselves, a firm grip would only help this, as there would be no ''reed in the wind'' absorving value. Ie, if your grip was very limp, the swpord would probably just be flung from your hand. But with a firm hold, it would simply bend & shatter. Shall I respond as though the blade broke or...?)) But for clarification, Terr is in ''en garde'' position, you charge, he simply extends his arm, & the blade is going straight for you(I fence IRL.). you feinted at my side, as mentioned in my first post, my other arm was held at my side, crooked at slightly crooked right-angles.
