It has been confirmed both by TV Guide and by Rinna herself. The writers simply came to the point where if Billie stayed in Salem, it would only be to break Bo and Hope up, and they didn't want her to do that, so they're sending her packing. Rinna confirmed it on her talk show, Soap Talk. She seems in good spirits. I know it took a LOT of negotiations in order to get Rinna back on Days because of her new talk show, so perhaps this is for the best. Now she can focus all her time on Soap Talk, and hopefully have more time to spend with her family. Her last airdate will be mid to late December.

When I first found out she was coming back I was excited about it, mainly because of the mystery surrounding her, but now that I KNOW why she came back, I'd just as soon see her leave, especially if it would leave room for another old face to return. There have been rumors that Eric Brady will return to Salem, but probably with a new face. I'll keep you informed. :-)

Hehehe, India. I can see why you got excited. This is the best news. I've never liked Billie. Well, that's not entirely true. I liked her when her and Jack were good good friends. But when she went after Bo, I was like, NOOOOOOOOO. He was involved with Carly then, and I loved her. I didn't want Billie to break them up.

And then when Carly went back to Lawrence I was like, ahhh nah! That just left the door open for Bo and Billie to get together. I hated those storylines with a passion. I don't think I will ever like Billie's roll as long as she's after Bo.
