Slowly, the wingli opens his yes to peer down at her through his crimson bangs. For the next second or so, he only stares, before her words made any kind of impression on his mind. Then, as if his entire world had blown up around him, he jolts awake, disbelieving this sudden factor as reality. He avoids asking her to repeat herself, for he could see the obvious. And it was painful. Explainable. All halfling births were painful, due to the fact that the baby was nearly half the size of a normal child. Wings were nice things to have, but in birth?

He shook his head. He was thinking about her safety now, and that was unavoidable. He also notes to not mention the fact that she may be expecting irregular pain for the fact she was in this state was undoubtedly his fault in the first place. And so he drags himself off of the bed, all anxiety packed inside of him like a cache of emotion. "The baby. I might have known." That was true. Only, the whole truth was that he did know, and he was too stubborn to say so. However, he keeps this as secret as he did his concern. Instead, he curses violently, not at her for good reason, but at himself for not being prepared. "Who?" Clear enough. Where did he take her? He was sure as heck not going to deliver a baby. He'd kill it, undoubtedly, by mistake.
