Tiny slivers of the suns light land ironically on the very babe's eyelids. Gurgling his discontent, Kalub squirms, attmepting to pry his eyes open without blinding himself. When the wave of unmistakable hunger hits him, his gurgling stretches into an unhappy wail. It fills the room, beginning his father's horrible morning...and mood.

A sigh announces the wingli's consciousness, and he too, stirs first without sound. Unlike his demanding son, he stood without sound, fixed with a vexed expression. This glance soon meets the back of Aurora's head, followed by his hand on her shoulder. Kalub coughs, starting to wail anew, although softer this time. Amarant is clearly stumped. "I suppose the term 'good morning' would be out of line..." he mutters, irresistably. "Anyways, good morning Aurora."
