Subject: Robert McKune

Family history says that ROBERT MCKUNE (spelling apparently adopted by 2nd son Joseph) that he came to America in 1754 but his 1st sons family says he came in 1762 == they both agree he came from Glasgow, Scotland. If he came in 1762 - he would have his son Robert with him. We do not know wife's name. 2nd son Joseph would have just been born - whether in Scotland, or on the way or in America --don't know.

Does anyone have information on 18th century McKune's (spelling could be McEwen, McEwan , etc) in Glasgow Scotland.

Thank you.

Sheila McCormack
