Subject: R.R. William Day REEVE D.D., Ass't. Bishop of Toronto - d. 1925

Seeking descendants of Right Rev. William Day REEVE (3 Jan 1844 - 12 May 1925), who was Assistant Bishop of Toronto (Ch. of ENG) at his death.

He was my grandmother's brother; they were from the village of Harmston, Lincs., ENG. He marr. Emily PARKER of Caistor in 1869, before coming to Northwest Territory as a young missionary. They had at least five ch.: Herbert Charles, Katie, George Arthur, Ethel, and Walter - all named in a charming poem he wrote to his sister. He remarr. in 1907, to Miss Mary Alice GRINDLEY of Montreal.

In his obituary in the Canadian Churchman, the only reference to his children among the mourners were: Mrs. E.B. MERRILL of Toronto, a daughter, and Alfred TIZARD, a son-in-law. Another obit says: "survived by widow and 3 sons and 3 daughters of his first marr. One daughter, Mrs. Edward MERRILL, lives in Toronto." A third obit says cryptically : "3 sons and 4 daughters."

Please, are there any descendants out there?
