Subject: THOMPSON, HUDSON, RHODES from Yorkshire, Eng and BARRAS from France then northern England

Dr. James/Arthur THOMPSON (dentist) from England practising there around 1900. He married or was in relationship with a Clara HUDSON. Clara had a son James Hudson THOMPSON b. June 23, 1908. Dr. THOMPSON may have had a son Edward b. around 1893. Paul BARRAS(S)from France b. about 1755, married young, wife known only as Madame Vicomte de Barras. Fled to either northern England or Ireland 1800-1810 with 2 or 3 sons, settled them there with their own land, then Paul returned to France to live out his days, dying around 1829. One of the sons went to the Yorkshire area, got married & raised a family & had descendants who stayed in the area before coming to Canada 1914-1919. I need to find if any of this is a fact as I only have the story handed down by my gramma who married a BARRAS in Eng. in 1904. (William Edward BARRAS(S)b. 1880, Leeds, Eng.) Thank you all out there who may have the missing puzzle piece, if indeed, it exists!
Jay
