Gone are the feelings we shared inside,
the love, the caring, all all the pride.
We used to act and think as one,
now that and our love is done.
I thought I knew you so very well,
but you turned my life into a hell.
Caught you out there, running around,
after a true love that I thought we'd found.
You were very quickly slipping away,
I wasn't about to beg you to stay.
For if you truly weren't happy with me,
I had no choice but to set you free.
So all my feelings for you are gone now,
I'm still trying to figure out just how.
Awake all night till the break of dawn,
crying all night, because it's gone.
